Our Programs

We use arts and culture to build confidence and pride. Through our cultural programs, we support the process of inclusion and recognition of Latine immigrant families in the Emma community and the Erwin School District in Buncombe County, North Carolina.

Parents and community members actively shape and lead the programming.  They receive training as child care providers and educational instructors so that our community has a recreational and educational space for our children and youth.

We offer Mexican Folklórico dance instruction in all of our fall and spring programs. Dancers of all ages  come together to perform  in traditional clothing an average of 8 times each year, in community and festival settings.

All of our programs are in Spanish and are free of charge.
